AI Provider and Agent Consent

This consent explains how CoWorker uses third-party AI providers and hosted user-controlled agents. Please read it before enabling or using an agent.

1. Third-Party AI Providers

CoWorker provides hosted AI agents that may use third-party AI routing and model providers to process user requests. These providers may include:

When you use CoWorker, we may send your prompts, uploaded content, files, agent instructions, outputs, conversation context, tool results, and related metadata to these providers to process your requests.

2. Provider Policies

OpenRouter is an AI routing provider. It may route requests to underlying AI model providers according to routing settings, availability, pricing, model selection, and provider policies.

Each provider may have its own terms, privacy policy, logging policy, retention policy, abuse-monitoring policy, and model-improvement policy. CoWorker does not operate or control the underlying third-party AI models or provider infrastructure.

Where available, CoWorker may use privacy-related provider settings, such as no-training preferences, logging controls, or zero-data-retention options. These settings may depend on the selected provider, model, endpoint, account settings, and technical availability.

3. Training and Model Improvement

Some third-party AI providers may retain, review, process, or use prompts, uploaded content, outputs, and related metadata to improve services or train models, depending on their published policies and the provider selected for a request.

Where required by applicable law, CoWorker will request separate consent before routing user content to providers that may use such content for training or model improvement.

Do not submit sensitive, confidential, regulated, or unnecessary personal information unless you understand and accept that the selected provider may process such data under its own policies.

4. User-Controlled Agents

CoWorker agents are user-directed tools. You are responsible for the prompts, instructions, goals, configurations, permissions, approvals, files, credentials, integrations, and external actions that you provide to or authorize through your agents.

Agents may perform actions through connected tools, APIs, accounts, websites, files, messages, or other external systems if you configure or authorize them to do so. You are responsible for reviewing and approving agent actions where approval is requested or required.

5. Consent

By enabling or using a CoWorker agent, you agree that:

  • CoWorker may send your prompts, uploaded content, files, instructions, outputs, conversation context, tool results, and related metadata to third-party AI routing and model providers to process your requests.
  • Your requests may be routed through OpenRouter and underlying AI model providers.
  • Provider data handling may vary by provider, model, endpoint, settings, and published policies.
  • Some providers may retain, review, process, or use data for abuse monitoring, service improvement, or model training where permitted by their policies and applicable law.
  • CoWorker does not control the underlying third-party AI models or provider infrastructure.
  • You are responsible for the instructions, content, approvals, integrations, and actions you initiate or authorize through your agents.

6. Optional Expanded Provider Mode

If CoWorker offers a privacy-focused mode and an expanded provider mode, the privacy-focused mode may restrict routing to providers or endpoints with stronger privacy settings where available.

Expanded provider mode may allow broader provider routing, lower cost, better availability, or more model options, but may involve providers with different data retention, logging, review, training, or model-improvement policies.

By choosing expanded provider mode, you accept that your content may be processed under the selected providers' published policies.
